Shasta Blues Society is dedicated to the preservation and
promotion of American "Blues" music.
As a 501 (c) (3) volunteer organization we are dedicated to
the enhancement and promulgation of the Blues as an American
cultural art form.
The SBS supports Blues in Schools by sponsoring the "Sacto"
Mickey Traina / Tulla Bisnar - Bidasha Memorial Blues Scholarship.

Sadly there will be no Blues by The River this year. However we will be having the "Big Blues Blow Out" at LuLu's, 7pm, Friday, Sept 16th and Saturday, Sept 17th.
This event is free with a small donation for our "Young Musicians Scholarship"..
We are featurning out of the area and local bands
Blue Relish from Yreka, Kyle Rowland from Sacramento, The West Edge Band, The Phil Seymour Band and many more
Also we will be selling DVD's "The Best Of Blues By The River" $15 and T- Shirts from our past festivals $10 each or two (2) for $15. There will be raffels etc.
